You can use a mild cleaner to wash around doors and windows as well as glass cleaner for the windows. Do not use abrasive cleaners and cloths as this may damage your doors and windows. Clean the parts with a mild soap, then rinse well with water. For maintenance, be sure to apply a lubricant once in a while to the gear mechanisms to ensure ease of operation. Remember to remove mosquito screens during the winter months. Finally, also check the condition of the caulking sealant around the windows to ensure optimal water and weatherproofing.
